Merry Post-Christmas!
How was your Christmas Day? Actually, How was your December based holidays? If it was Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any other Winter Solstice holiday, let me know how it was, what you got, how you celebrated. I celebrate Christmas and my family woke up early, opened presents, and then i went back to sleep because i worked later that day. Yup! I worked on christmas, until the early morning no less. Nothing gets you in the Holiday spirit like a 9 hour shift on christmas. Its okay, you get paid exta for working on christmas and that paycheck will be the best christmas present (despite the fact I'm saving most of it).
So I got a couple of things for christmas, I wanted mostly money for christmas since I'm in college and I'm trying to save money. I got that:
- Cash
- A couple of books
- The Program by Suzanne Young
- The Originals book 1 by Julie Plec
- The Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
- A travel case for makeup and toiletries
- A Visa gift card (I already used to buy a Blogilates 2016 Fitness journal)
- A cute stuffed animal
- A batman watch
- Body spray
- A cheap makeup kit (I'm on board with any makeup gifts cheap or otherwise. I'm a hoarder)
- And a stocking full of chocolate treats.
I'm working a lot this break, which is why Its been a week since my last post, but as long as I get a post out every week, then won't panic. I like making money and don't mind working but 9 hour shifts standing on my feet hurt and especially when I'm working until 1-2 in the morning. It's not very fun. Id prefer day shifts but they give me good hours so I'm not about to switch to another job just yet. I do wish i could just be back on campus and start my last semester. i already have plans for the first weekend back, my best friends is visiting. She graduated last year, so i don't get to see her often. I have to make the most of my last semester. Right?! Right.
I hope your December has been great. Get ready for New Year! 2016! Let's hope its better than 2015. It was kind of lame the year from my perspective. The only thing that kept me sane was the lovely people in my youtube subscription box. Maybe one day I'll be one of those lovely youtubers. Until then, i have this blog, whether anyone reads it or not.
xoxo
